The Short Version
Size queens and lovers of a big, veiny, monstrous cock will love Black Thunder. He has an incredible amount of detail, most notable his prominent veins and pronounced curve. However, he is PVC based, rather than some of the newer more lifelike materials like Ultraskyn.
Some folks have health concerns and/or allergy issues with PVC. As with ANY toy material, we always recommend doing your research ahead of time and consulting with a doctor, if needed.
The Long Version
This big boy is not for beginners, but it is a lot of fun! We love black dildos with lots of “character” – interesting and remarkable features like veins, wrinkles, curves, and ridges. And boy, does Black Thunder have character!
The most notable feature is how veiny he is, and how varied the veins are. There are plenty of smaller ones running all over the place, but the one that really catches the eye is the massive artery-like vessel that wraps up and around the right side of the curve. It is one of our favorite unique aspects about this BBC dildo, and it provides a great feeling when you work your way down to it.
Of course, we also have to talk about that curve! It might be the most prominent curve of any realistic toy in our collection. It adds an whole extra dimension of possible sensations, depending on how you choose to take it, and it adds potential for g-spot or prostate stimulation.
There are plenty of other outstanding details. The smooth, bulbous head is well-sculpted (not always the case with other toys), as is the foreskin beneath it (the real-life model for this toy was uncut). A substantial urethra bulge runs underneath the entire length of the dong and adds another enjoyable dimension to the toy. The scrotum and balls are on par with the rest of the top-notch detail of the toy.
Again, the size and shape of this toy is not to be trifled with. Every aspect is so exaggerated that it almost borders on being a fantasy dildo – if for no other reason than there is unlikely to be anyone on earth that truly resembles it.
Doc Johnson has this in their “Signature” line of toys which are modeled after real-life adult stars. In this case, “Black Thunder” was a solo model from the “Black Inches” magazine in the 1990’s, and he was never involved in any hardcore scenes, so you unfortunately won’t find any videos out there to pair with this toy and “play along”. Up until the release of the Dredd and Brickzilla toys, we used to pair it with their scenes just out of size similarity.
The main downside (for us, at least) is the material. It is PVC based, instead of the Ultraskyn that Doc Johnson uses on all of their new Signature toys. The feel is very rubbery and heavy. This would be a personal deal-breaker for us if it just didn’t look so damn good! The size, curve, and details make it great for play where you really want to be visually stimulated by a truly monster cock. If they made an updated version of this in Ultraskyn, we’d buy a half dozen.
